P&K Vander Zaag Farms is a proud multi- generational potato farm located in Alliston Ontario, Canada. P&K Vander Zaag farms are committed to growing quality potatoes. We are excited to be working with some of the biggest companies in the chipping industry and are grateful for partnerships that have been formed and lasted over the last 30 years. P&K Vander Zaag Farms are proud participants in the Canada GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) program maintaining a professional standard in agriculture.
Peter and Kate met at the University of Guelph Ontario Agricultural College, were married in March 1985 and began farming as P&K Vander Zaag Farms in 1990. Peter and Kate are passing the tradition and love of farming onto their kids and grandkids, while learning new technologies and practices every year to maintain responsible practices. In addition to potatoes, P&K Vander Zaag Farms grows wheat, soya beans, corn and a variety of cover crops to enrich the soil they are stewards of.
Peter and Kate are blessed to be working with three of their six children and inspiring the next generation with eleven grandchildren running around the farm. Their children are proud of the experience and opportunity the farm as offered them and appreciate the dedication and hard work experienced throughout the farm.
